Watch and learn as 6-year-old Girl Scout Daisy Chloe puts on a tool belt and shares her love for carpentry and building LIVE on stage with our President and CEO, Tammy Wharton! Chloe is only 6 years old, but she’s already built several projects, such as butterfly houses, a work bench, a solar powered car, and more (with her parents’ supervision, of course!). Chloe’s love for building and construction emphasizes Girl Scouts’ mission to nurture and encourage girls exploring STEM and skilled trade career paths typically dominated by men, and we plan to reach girls like Chloe through our Dream Big Initiative.
Women make up nearly half of the U.S. workforce but are drastically underrepresented in fields like STEM, construction, and leadership roles. We can’t wait for you to watch as Chloe builds and talks about her Girl Scout experience and BIG plans for the future!
