During this Make and Take presentation, The Buckeye Lady will share the origins of the buckeye candy, the story behind the founding of The Buckeye Lady, and a step-by-step demonstration of handcrafting traditional buckeyes. Participants will be guided through making six classic peanut butter and dark chocolate buckeyes using time-honored techniques. Each guest will leave with both their handcrafted candies and the practical knowledge needed to recreate traditional buckeyes at home. More than a confection, the buckeye is a lasting symbol of Ohio pride and heritage. First come, first served for the first 20 participants. Additional guests are welcome to observe. Founded in Columbus, the business transformed a beloved state treat into a community-driven brand. What began as a home-kitchen startup has grown into a retail storefront and mobile food carts, creating meaningful job opportunities for local youth. In keeping with its values, The Buckeye Lady donates 1% of every sale to dog rescue organizations, including Gigi’s, supporting animal welfare throughout Central Ohio.

Puppy Yoga isn’t about perfect poses—it’s about joy, relaxation, and soaking up all the puppy love!
