OKTOBERFEST
Together again, Oktoberfest and the Fall Home & Garden Show share the Fairgrounds all weekend for double the fun. Every visitor to the Home & Garden Show gets free admission to Oktoberfest, and every Oktoberfest visitor gets free admission to the Home & Garden Show (just present your Oktoberfest pamphlet at the ticket window). Ride our shuttle that will run between the front entrances of both events on Sat. and Sun. from noon to 4 p.m.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES: STACY MCKAY
All weekend long, the Simple Bath/Simple Kitchen Home Stage will come to life with fun, interesting, tasty and educational programs for guests of every age and interest. Stacy McKay, co-host of Bobby & Stacy in the Morning on Sunny 95, will keep things lively and upbeat as she emcees programs at the stage all three days.

P. Allen Smith, an author, television host, entrepreneur and conservationist, has a passion for American style. He uses his Arkansas home, Moss Mountain Farm, which The New York Times hails as a “stunning estate,” as an epicenter for promoting the local food movement, organic gardening and a grounded, natural lifestyle. The farm serves as a place of inspiration, education and conservation and a way to share ideas for growing food and flowers, entertaining, raising animals and cooking with his audience. And his popular show P. Allen Smith Garden Home is celebrating its 18th season on PBS. After Allen’s stage presentation he will greet guests for selfies.

The best gardeners in Columbus have been working since spring for the honor of being crowned thee Dispatch and Oakland Nurseries 2019 Backyard garden Awards winners. Come be wowed as we celebrate each finalist, share their amazing garden pictures on the giant video wall and announce the winners.
